Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadow is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 400.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovee I just wanted to try them out caught it on a a sale have the "brownie points" and "Cruisin' Chic" . Loved both but was surprised I would like the "brownie points" so much. I'm African American with a med dark brown complection and it actually complemented my skin tone so kind of a natural color with a hint of shimmer in which I like. It's a bit thick I was still able to use a brush and smooth it over my lid. Lasted all day so pretty. Bought two of each wish I purchased more but will definitely try other colors as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Cream Eyeshadow! When I have these in my collection, they are the only thing I grab for! They last all day on my oily lids and don't crease a bit! Please add more shades!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection! This eyeshadow is so good that it could easily give expensive brands a run for their money. Pigmentation is great, blends easily, long lasting, and even after 16 hours of wear I had no creasing or fading. It's amazing. My only complaint is that there definitely NEEDS TO BE MORE COLOR OPTIONS. I would buy every single one of them. As it is, I always make sure I have backups of these so I never run out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Touch I love the versatility of the product. It can be used to vamp up a look adding a good shimmer to the eyes or to add a little something to a natural everyday makeup. I think it is easier to apply it with the fingers. When I tried using a brush, I had some issues given that the pot is really small. I am planning on buying more shades. They are a must have since it can help you go from a day to night look in a second.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Love Love It Super creamy and pigmented. Doesn't crease and lasts all day seriously. If you apply the elf translucent powder over it nothing can make it budge one of my favorite elf products now!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful I bought cruising chic and it's so smooth and easy to apply, I put it heavy on my outer eyelid and blend a little into my inner and it looks amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So shiny! My friend suggested to me to try out the smudge pot eye shadow. I had purchased the "wine not" color before she told me to try it, but once she said I should give it a go I instantly ran to my makeup and gave it a test run.The color was beautiful even in the little pot! When I put it on my eyelid it was very creamy/wet feeling. (not water status of course) I had seen videos of where people applied it with their finger (which I tried this first test run) it was a little hard to smooth out/ blend when I used my finger. Then again I never really have used cream eye shadows so I was flying blind. The color was equally as beautiful on my skin as in the pot.The second time I used it I used a brush to apply and blend. It blended better than the first time that is for sure. I blended it out as much as I could and then added darker regular eye shadow to give it more dimension. The end result I could not have been happier with. The creamy-ness of this eye shadow helped to hold my other shadows in place almost like a primer or concealer would. (I am lazy and dont use primers. yet)12 hours later my eye lids still are holding strong to their original colors, no smudging or wear spots. Colors aren't as uber vibrant as started with but they are not dull by any means. Still shiny.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this stuff! I've heard that this is a dupe for Maybelline color tattoo so I decided to try it out. I've never bought any color tattoos but from what they can tell they're long lasting, have great pigmentation but are pretty difficult to blend. The Smudge Pots are a dream to blend. You can blend them a BIT with your fingers but they look best with the edges blended with a blending brush. I've tried wearing this with and without I primer. I have the Essence I love color primer and it helps extend the wear and prevents creasing. However, primer or nyx milk will not improve the pigmentation because it's already so pigmented! This is not totally crease proof unfortunately. I have very oily lids and while it'll last all day, a fair amount of it will crease. I love the shade Crusin Chic. I'm a light yellow leaning olive and it's kind of a shimmery, taupe gold if that makes sense? Look up the swatches before you buy, I found them pretty accurate. I normally apply eyeshadow with a brush but I do apply this with my fingers because I find it goes on easier. This is great for a minimal makeup look and I've integrated it into my everyday 5 minute makeup look (primer, foundation, eyeshadow primer, smudge pot, blush, lipstick/lipgloss). AKA my I'm running late but trying to look vaguely put together look. I don't normally like the one shadow eye shadow look but I'll definitely make an exception for this! A nice neutral/warm brown eyeshadow in the crease (I use a naked basics dupe from a makeup revolution palette. I think it's called the Iconic elements palette?) helps pulls the look together. This is a great simple work look and it's also great for middle/high schoolers who want a minimal makeup look. I would recommend this for beginners but would note that a blending brush (ELF makes some great brushes) will help.
