Tanned vs Fair

Tanned vs Fair

The evenings are already getting lighter and it’s not long until we’ll be digging out our crop tops and shorts.

But will you be breaking out the St Tropez this year, or embracing the pale?

In recent years, doll faced beauties like Katy Perry, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Girl’s Aloud’s Nicola Roberts and Dita Von Teese have shown us that pale is, indeed, interesting.

Bronzed babes Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Britney Spears and Cheryl Cole, on the other hand, will no doubt be resorting to their trusty bottle of fake tan this summer.

But what about you?

Is it sexier to be sun kissed, or will the porcelain-skinned among you be flaunting your natural beauty?

Don’t forget, there’s plenty of ways to achieve a natural looking tan without resorting to sun beds.

A subtle sweep of bronzer will brighten dull skin in an instant, while pale-faced English roses can accentuate their complexion with a hint of pink.

Why not take a tip from Nicola Roberts by keeping make-up simple yet stylish, or go for dramatic feline-esque eyes like Sophie Ellis Bextor.

What will you go for this summer? Bronzed beach babe or pale-faced chic?

Who's that girl?

Z-List paparazzi princess Jodie Marsh is usually known for wearing very little clothing and a lot of makeup. But now, for the first time, we get the chance to see the 'real' her.

As part of a celeb version of BBC3's 'Snog, Marry or Avoid', Jodie recently took part in a 'make under' which saw her ditching the bleach blonde locks and trade mark belts for a beautiful natural look.

Check out her flowing auburn tresses and feminine boho dress, she actually looks like the girl next door. (Shame about the tats though).

We at e.l.f. think that Jodie's fresh faced approach to makeup looks fab and that she should keep up the look by bagging herself some of our favourite natural beauty must-haves. e.l.f. Mineral foundation with SPF 15 for a natural flawless complexion and to protect her skin after years of tanning and our best selling Mineral Booster to give her that perfect translucent 'photo fininshing touch' to her makeup.

Catch Jodie's make under 23rd February at 8pm on BBC3. What do you think of Jodie's make under and what e.l.f. products would you advise her to use to keep her beautiful new look?
