My Autumn must haves from e.l.f.? Gosh, that's not easy. Here, however is my narrowed down list.

Number one on my list has to be the Studio Bronzer in Golden  - it gives a post summer glow to your skin, allowing for a subtly, healthy glow  and if in a hurry can be used with an e.l.f. Eye Shadow Brush to sweep a touch of colour onto the lids.

My second must have is without a shadow of a doubt e.l.f.'s Mineral Eyeshadow in Celebrity, great for adding a bit of sparkle to the eyes.

e.l.f.'s Mineral Lipstick in Cool Coral looks extremely scary in the tube, but when applied to the lips is more of a coppery red with golden undertones - perfect for that Autumnal look we're all dying to achieve.

Next, I recommend e.l.f.'s Mineral Blush in Coral. This adds to the glow we wish to achieve - this little baby adds a touch of coral to our pasty faces, without over doing it.

Lastly, Cranberry  the new Nail Polish colour brought out specifically for Autumn... this brings us in touch with our deep purple-reds and subtly adds depth to our look.

The Summer I Turned Pretty

The Summer I Turned Pretty

The Summer I Turned Pretty is the first in a romantic series from fabulous new teen voice, Jenny Han. Jenny Han’s delightful and well written coming-of-age story is the perfect beach read for 2010. Combining summer love, lasting friendship and teen angst, girls everywhere will fall in love with it this summer.

One girl. Two boys. And the summer that changed everything…

“Everything that happened this past summer, and every summer before it, has all led up to this. To now.”

Every year Isabel spends a perfect summer at her family friends’ house. There’s the swimming pool at night, the private stretch of sandy beach . . . and the two boys. Unavailable, aloof Conrad – who she’s been in love with forever – and friendly, relaxed Jeremiah, the only one who’s ever really paid her any attention.

But this year something is different. They seem to have noticed her for the first time. It’s going to be an amazing summer – and one she’ll never forget…

We've teamed up with Razorbill and have three prize packs including The Summer I Turned Pretty (worth £6.99) and a Studio Lip Stain in First Date to give away. Post a comment below with memories of your first love story to enter the giveaway. The three most romantic posts will each win a prize pack.

Competition closes on Thursday 10th June. All winners will be notified by the e.l.f. team with an update to this post w/c 14th June 2010.

GIVEAWAY CLOSED

We loved all your romantic stories, thanks so much for contributing! We could only chose three, and here are the ones that made us smile (and cry) the most:

Live Well and Spend Less

Feeling poor because of recession? Feeling guilty because of global warming? Feeling like you’d quite like to tighten your belt, but aren’t quite ready to embrace DIY macramé handbags? No need to panic. Put down the economy mince and read The Thrift Book by India Knight instead – it’s a blueprint for living beautifully while saving money and easing your conscience.

India Knight (no slouch when it comes to extravagance) shows you how even a dedicated consumer and child of the more-is-more 1980s can mend her ways, embrace the New Thrift, and find her life – and bank balance - dramatically improved in the process.

She will show you:

  • How to make wonderful dinners with very little money
  • How to grow things
  • How to make jellies, chutneys and pickles
  • How to dress on a budget and still look fabulous – and what to do with your mum’s old sewing machine
  • How to make the most of living in a community, from borrowing preserving pans (that’s right, we’re making jam) to starting a toy-swapping group
  • How to holiday in new and imaginative ways - with only the merest whisper of a carbon footprint
  • How to make your own fun, from crafts to making presents, from parties to affordable pampering
  • And finally....how to manage your money – because, 'frankly, it's about time we all got a grip!'

Above all, India Knight will show you that saving money and tightening your belt doesn’t have to feel like a penance – it can be both fun and glamorous (and a great deal more satisfying than buying the latest It-bag). Try it – you have nothing to lose but your overdraft.

We've teamed up with India Knight and Penguin Books and have 18 FREE copies of The Thrift Book to give away. All you need to do is to post your own top 3 money saving tips in the comments box below. Your thrifty tips don't just have to be about makeup - we'd love to hear about great ways to save money on any topic you like! Our 18 favourite posts below will each win a paperback copy of The Thrift Book worth £7.99.

Competition closes on Friday 9th October 2009 - all winners will be notified on this day by email :0)
